Restaurant OKU is a Japanese sushi & grill restaurant in the heart of Winterswijk. As you step inside, you enter a warm, welcoming setting where good, generous dining is all about care, quality and taking your time. With over a hundred dishes, there is always something new to discover — from refined sushi and sashimi to flavourful fusion dishes and hearty options from the grill.
At the heart of OKU is our All-You-Can-Eat concept: for one fixed price per person, you dine without limits. You simply order per round whatever you fancy and set your own pace, so you can taste and keep enjoying at your leisure. Prefer something smaller, or short on time? You can also dine à la carte or take your dishes to go — whatever suits you.
The biggest difference is on your plate: at OKU everything is freshly prepared daily. No buffet, but every dish made with care and served warm at your table. When the weather is fine, take a seat on our lovely terrace — with the same fresh kitchen and attentive service.

Order via the tablet
Every table has a tablet. You place your order yourself, exactly when you want to.

Up to 3 dishes p.p.
Per round you choose up to three dishes per person, so everything stays fresh.

You decide the number of rounds entirely yourself — for as long as you are hungry.

2.5 hours unlimited
You dine without limits for 2.5 hours, calmly and without rushing.

Served at your table
No buffet: every dish is freshly prepared and brought to your table.

With respect for food
We do not appreciate waste. In case of over-ordering we charge € 1.00 per sushi and € 3.00 per warm dish.
Ordering food is required and the price excludes drinks.

Absolutely. Our sushi is made fresh every day. Every dish is prepared with care at the moment you order — no buffet, but fresh and warm, served at your table.
The All-You-Can-Eat arrangement gives you 2.5 hours of unlimited dining. Take your time to order several rounds at your leisure.
Absolutely. Children aged 1 to 10 pay € 2.50 per year of age. So a child of 6 pays € 15.00.
Yes. If you have had gastric reduction surgery, we charge the rate of a 10-year-old child. We do ask you to show proof of the procedure and a valid ID.
Besides All You Can Eat, you can dine à la carte, take away or have your order delivered. Check out the takeaway menu or order directly online.
The time you see when ordering — for example "pickup in 15 minutes" — is an estimate. The actual time may still change, and when it's busy it sometimes takes longer than expected. So please check your email: there we let you know when your order is ready for pickup.
Soy sauce, wasabi and ginger are not included with an order by default — you can simply add them separately. Chopsticks are of course free.
To prevent waste, for dishes left uneaten we charge € 1.00 per sushi and € 3.00 per warm dish. So feel free to order, but in moderation per round.
Yes, the menu features various vegetarian and vegan dishes. Let us know about allergies or dietary wishes at your table and we will take them into account.
